A Castleton self-catering holiday cottage
The cottage has two en-suite double bedrooms and sleeps up to 4 people. One of the double beds can be made into twin beds, if required. Both bedrooms are on the ground floor. The cottage lies just a few yards off the old market square, in the heart of Castleton village. This village is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the Peak District, with Peveril Castle, several show caverns, magnificent walking on the doorstep and ready access to other outdoor activities, such as mountain biking, rock-climbing and hang-gliding. All the major attractions of the Peak District, such as Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Ladybower and the Derwent Dams, and all the major towns, including Buxton, Bakewell and Matlock, are within easy reach of Castleton by car. Castleton also has a range of shops and pubs, offering a range of amenities. Eating out in Castleton is a breeze, with a good range of pubs and cafes to choose from. The Old Workshop is a no smoking cottage and we regret we are unable to accept pets. The cottage is privately owned and the owners are local residents. |
